AS PART OF THE RETAIL TEAM
As Area Manager for North America, you’ll drive Polène’s regional expansion, shaping our brand’s identity and anchoring its presence across the continent. You'll engage directly with customers in-store, while fostering strong relationships with local partners and retail teams.
Reporting to the Retail Director at our Paris headquarters, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (HR, Digital, Finance, Logistics, Customer Service…)and become a key bridge between our North American operations and the global HQ.
YOUR RESPONSABILITIES
This position requires significant experience in overseeing multiple stores’ performance and operations, and a keen interest in expanding a store network that grows quickly. Your missions will be as follows:
Drive expansion strategy: Develop and execute Polène’s North American growth roadmap, opening multiple boutiques annually and tailoring approaches to to local market dynamics.
Define long‑term retail journey: Plan market penetration, forecast KPIs, retail network development.
Launch new stores: Lead operational preparations, from site selection, design coordination to local team recruitment and training.
Optimize existing stores: Ensure exceptional performance, uphold operational excellence, and deliver superior customer experiences.
Lead local teams: Coach, inspire, and develop in‑store leaders and teams to embody Polène’s craftsmanship-driven ethos.
Manage budgets: Oversee financial planning across retail operations (recruitment, project management, design, store openings…)
Ensure compliance: Maintain full adherence to local policies and legal regulations for a trusted and sustainable business.
Job requirements
OUR EXPECTATIONS
Proven track record (7+ years) in multi‑store retail leadership, within luxury or fashion industry in the US.
Significant hands‑on experience overseeing the performance and operations of multiple stores, with a keen interest in rapidly scaling a store network.
Strategic insight to translate global brand vision into local success.
Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with a passion for developing high‑performing retail teams.
Entrepreneurial mindset, adaptability, anda sharp eye for excellence.
Willingness to travel frequently across North America.
