As part of the PR & Influence Team

Reporting directly to the Head of PR for the US and Canada, your core mission is to drive brand awareness and elevate brand image in the U.S. market by leading strategic collaborations with top-tier media and key opinion leaders (including ambassadors, stylists, and journalists). You will play a central role in shaping the brand’s public perception and influence, ensuring strong visibility and relevance across all key platforms.

Your tasks will include the following :

1/ PR Strategy & Media Outreach

  • Support the development and execution of PR strategies for the Americas, focusing on storytelling, media exposure, and product visibility

  • Lead media outreach for product launches, securing impactful coverage across top outlets

  • Identify and pitch non-traditional media opportunities (podcasts, social platforms, emerging news sites)

  • Manage press materials, handle photography and credit requests, and coordinate media interviews

  • Track and report on media coverage across Assouline and competitors to spot trends and opportunities

  • Join weekly PR/marketing meetings to align on brand and launch strategies

2/ Influencer & KOL Relations

  • Help build and execute influencer strategies, including gifting and paid partnerships

  • Maintain strong relationships with influencers, agents, editors, and tastemakers

  • Oversee press and influencer sample trafficking, ensuring timely distribution and tracking

  • Work with internal teams and external partners to align on press and influencer activations

3/ Team Management & Event Support

  • Supervise and train a PR Associate and Senior PR Associate on press materials, clippings, samples, and media research

  • Support events: manage guest lists, host media and influencers, and secure post-event coverage

Job requirements

Our expectations

  • 5 to 6 years agency or luxury brand experience

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Established press and influencers contacts 

  • Required skills: Microsoft Office Suite, as well as LaunchMetrics, Campaygn and ShopMy (or equivalent softwares)

  • French and/or Spanish fluency is a plus

  • Ability to liaise cross functionally with other teams
