Job description

Founded in 2016, the French leather goods brand Polène stands out for its exceptional artisanal craftsmanship, creating timeless pieces with organic designs directly inspired by nature.

In a context of strong growth and international expansion, we are structuring our operations in 2025 and surrounding ourselves with top talent to develop deep expertise at every level of our organization. Our distinctly artistic positioning supports the elevation of our handbag and jewelry collections, backed by 800 artisans in our workshops located in Ubrique, Spain.

Polène is set to open the doors of its first store in Italy and the Polène story can be written with you! Join us in store and contribute to this adventure at the heart of our store, where a passionate team works to offer an exceptional customer experience.

AS PART OF OUR STORE TEAM

Polène boutiques embody our brand’s universe, reflecting our positioning that attracts a high-end, international clientele. By applying for this position, you are embarking on a journey where a passion for luxury leather goods and an unwavering dedication to exceptional service will define your daily endeavors.

YOUR MISSIONS

  1. Manage a Sales Team

    • Ensure alignment within your team on implementing Polène’s strategy, particularly regarding the pursuit of an exceptional customer experience, through exemplary guidance and hands-on coaching.

    • Energize the team to promote collaboration and a sense of belonging: provide quantitative and qualitative support from onboarding through training follow-ups and skills development.

    • Define, unite around, and motivate the team on priority actions for individual skills growth, while tracking progress toward your commercial objectives.

    • Identify team successes and areas for improvement, and implement related action plans.

    • Create staff schedules (vacations, shifts, catch‑ups…), optimizing team presence based on observed needs, and ensure compliance with the defined schedule.

    2. Drive Store Performance

    • Monitor key sales indicators (revenue, transaction count, top-selling items) and implement corrective measures when necessary.

    • Lead daily morning briefs to develop the team and ensure excellence. Consolidate and escalate field feedback relevant to sales growth.

    • Deliver outstanding service to clientele by ensuring adherence to Polène’s experience pillars (recruitment, development, loyalty).

    • Oversee opening and closing operations of the store, monitor store merchandising, and ensure compliance with all procedures, security standards, internal requirements, and legal regulations.

    3. Be a Brand Ambassador for Maison Polène

    • Provide regular qualitative and quantitative feedback on foot traffic and customer profiles to optimally adjust zoning and staffing plans, while ensuring high-quality welcome and advice by the sales teams.

    • Handle all types of situations to guarantee excellent customer relations and protect the brand image. Also oversee the processing and follow-up of complaints and after-sales service in compliance with Polène’s policies and processes.

Job requirements

  • You have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the luxury and/or leather goods sector.

  • You demonstrate a high level of autonomy and adaptability, combined with the dynamism that allows you to handle high customer traffic in-store.

  • You have a strong sensitivity to our products, craftsmanship, and the art of leather goods, which you can passionately share with our clientele.

  • You possess a true team spirit and eagerness to support and collaborate with colleagues.

  • You are capable of handling urgent situations and finding quick solutions: flexibility is essential to us.

If you're passionate about luxury leather goods, enjoy leading teams, and driving performance, we encourage you to apply and join the dynamic Polène team!

Polène is committed to ensuring inclusive recruitment processes and to selecting and promoting every candidate ethically and equitably.
