MAISON POLENE

Established in 2016 by three siblings, the French maison Polène crafts a collection of leathergoods that blends minimalism and creative exploration to offer unique shapes and signatures achieved through excellent craftsmanship.

The leather, sourced exclusively from certified Italian and Spanish tanneries, is sculpted to create organic forms, folds, drapery effects, or weavings.

The manufacturing process is entrusted to our artisans in Ubrique, a city in Spain specializing in high-end leathergoods, which hosts all of Polène's production trades.

Since 2023, Polène has been expanding into a new realm of expression: jewelry. Thematic collections explore nature, from the undulations of the wind to the textures of rocks sculpted into the material.

THE POLENE ENVIRONMENT

Reporting to the Head of PR, your main mission is to develop the brand's awareness and image by collaborating with the press and influencers in the South Korea market.


WHAT THE POLENE ADVENTURE HOLDS FOR YOU

1/ Influence

  • Continue to increase the brand's visibility by collaborating with a wide selection of South Korean influencers.
  • Monitor the impact on various social media platforms (Instagram, Youtube, Tik Tok...).
  • Constantly search for new profiles.
  • Organize meetings throughout the year in our store in Paris with VIPs, journalists, and influencers.


2/ Press

  • Organize sample callouts, share imagery, and monitor coverage.
  • Contribute to the creation of press releases.
  • Communicate on new products and brand news (new bag launches, store openings, interviews, etc.).


3/ Seoul Flagship

  • 2/3 trips per year to Seoul are to be expected, to coordinate private appointments with journalists and influencers at the brand’s future store.


4/ Reporting and data analysis

  • Assist with monthly reports, and daily updates on the brand’s PR software
  • Attend creative meetings (press gifts, press books, packaging...).

Job requirements

KEYS TO SUCCESS

  • You have a Master's degree, ideally in PR, communications, fashion or events
  • You have at least 3 years experience in PR
  • You can work efficiently in a fast-changing environment.
  • You are a strong team player, with excellent communication skills.
  • You have a particular appetite for fashion, the world of PR and an interest in the leather goods sector.
  • You have a strong fashion/luxury sensibility and a good knowledge of social networks, Korean media, and their impact.
  • You are fluent in Korean and English or Korean and French
  • A cover letter in Korean is required for the application.
